How does an unincorporated group of people receive resources from all over the world to do work that's worth it for their community's and put capital to work to create decentralised digital infrastructure?

In Aotearoa: Fortunately, the good people at The Gift Trust have financial infrastructure just for this purpose! They provide fiduciary sponsorship to ensure compliance and operate a platform called Open Collective in New Zealand, which delivers transparency for all contributors. You can learn more about our past and present projects at the link below and contribute alongside existing donors, backers and supporters.

Mātou Collective - Open Collective
Creating values-based systemic transformation to bring about epistemic justice – by, with, for Māori, Aotearoa, Indigenous people, and the world.

In the USA: We are grateful for our relationship with MyriadUSA and Every.org.

Every.org is a 501(c)(3) charity with EIN 61-1913297. They help nonprofits raise more money and strengthen relationships with donors to create lasting change. They make it easy for US-based contributors to provide resources for our work.

Our US-based fiscal sponsor Myriad facilitates transactions from a crypto-currency wallet and transfers it cross-border to Aotearoa in fiat currency.

Our earlier projects: Before creating this finance infrastructure to support Mātou Collective, ensure transparency and meet compliance requirements, earlier projects managed by individual team members included:

Grow AtalaPrism SDK: Adaptable identity storage module || AtalaPrism SDK の成長: 適応可能な ID ストレージ モジュールを開発する
Grow AtalaPrism: Holder connection requests
Data Empowerment Fund
The purpose of the Data Empowerment Fund is to support a diverse set of initiatives that enable greater individual agency or community control over data.
Tribal DIDs=Indigenous Sovereignty
